Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK THEFT WARNING ECU

    1. Disconnect the T5 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (T5-20) -Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      +B1 (T5-1) - Body ground V-Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14V
      +B2 (T5-21) - Body ground G-W - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14V
      IG (T5-24) - Body ground R-L - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V 10 to 14V
      CNSL (T5-10) - Body ground P-B - Body ground Smart key system cancel switch Cancel switch OFF --> ON 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T5 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and frequency of the connector.

    RCO (T5-15) - Body ground B-Y - Body ground Power source Ignition switch OFF, no key inserted, all doors closed and transmitter switch OFF --> ON 0 to 6 V --> 6 V
    RDA (T5-29) - Body ground Y - Body ground Door control receiver input signal No key in ignition key cylinder, all doors closed and transmitter switch OFF --> ON Below 1 V --> 12V

    RSS2 (T5-12) - Body ground R-G - Body ground Door control receiver output signal Luggage door closed, smart key within trunk output area and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 to 6 V --> Below 1 V
    CLG1 (T5-16) - Body ground G-W - Body ground Driver door oscillator sensor signal All doors closed from outside vehicle by wireless lock operation and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz
    CLG2 (T5-17) - Body ground L-B - Body ground passenger door oscillator sensor signal All doors closed from outside vehicle by wireless lock operation and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz

    CLG5 (T5-18) - Body ground B-W - Body ground Room oscillator front sensor signal 30 sec. elapses after driver door open --> closed; or closed --> open and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz
    CLG6 (T5-19) - Body ground LG-B - Body ground Luggage oscillator outer sensor signal 30 sec. elapses after driver door open --> closed; or closed --> open and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz
    CLG7 (T5-38) - Body ground R-B - Body ground Room oscillator rear sensor signal 30 sec. elapses after driver door open --> closed; or closed --> open and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz
    CLG8 (T5-39) - Body ground L-Y - Body ground Luggage oscillator inner sensor signal 30 sec. elapses after driver door open --> closed; or closed --> open and ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 Hz --> Some Hz

    If the result is not as specified, the theft warning ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK STEERING LOCK ECU

    1. Disconnect the S46 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      GND (S46-9) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      IG2 (S46-2) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V 10 to 14V
      PUSH (S46-11) - Body ground P-B - Body ground Push switch input signal Ignition switch OFF --> ON 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω
      KSW (S46-12) - Body ground LG-B - Body ground Key unlock warning switch input signal Ignition switch OFF --> ON 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the S46 ECU connector.
    4. Check the resistance and voltage of the connector.

      If the result is not as specified, the steering lock ECU may have a malfunction.

    5. Inspect using an oscilloscope.
    WAREFORM 1 (REFERENCE)

    Terminal TXCT - GND
    Tool Setting 2V/DIV, 10ms/DIV
    Condition Key inserted --> Ignition switch ON

  3. CHECK DRIVER DOOR ECU

    1. Disconnect the D25 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      GND (D25-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (D25-4) Body ground V-Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14V

      SIG (D25-5) - Body ground R-L - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14V
      TRG+ (D25-14) - TRG- (D25-13) GR- P Lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed --> pushed 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the D25 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the frequency and voltage of the connector.

    If the result is not as specified, the driver door ECU may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK PASSENGER DOOR ECU

    1. Disconnect the F17 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      GND (F17-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      SIG (F17-5) - Body ground R-L - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the F17 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the frequency and voltage of the connector.

    If the result is not as specified, the passenger door ECU may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK REAR DOOR LH ECU

    1. Disconnect the R12 and R13 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      GND (R13-6) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (R13-1) Body ground V-Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14V

      SIG (R13-26) - Body ground R-L - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14V
      TRG+ (R12-2) - TRG- (R12-28) GR-L - P Lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed --> pushed 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the R23 and RB ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the frequency and voltage of the connectors.

    If the result is not as specified, the rear door LH ECU may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK REAR DOOR RH ECU

    1. Disconnect the R14 and R15 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      GND (R14-6) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the R14 and R15 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the frequency and voltage of the connectors

    If the result is not as specified, the rear door RH ECU may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ASSY (LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ECU)

    1. Disconnect the LA and LL J/B, L12 and L14 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      LCTY (L12-4) - Body ground G - Body ground Luggage door courtesy switch signal Luggage door is closed --> open 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω
      BDCY (L14-8) - Body ground L - Body ground Luggage door lock switch signal Lock switch not pushed --> pushed 10 kΩor higher --> Below 1 Ω
      LPSW (L12-2) - Body ground BR - Body ground Luggage compartment door push switch input Luggage compartment door push switch OFF --> ON 10 kΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the LA and LL J/B, L12 and L14 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance of the connector

    If the result is not as specified, the luggage room J/B ECU may have a malfunction.
