Check the circuits for each problem symptom in the order given in table below , and proceed to relevant troubleshooting .

PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE - REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM

When shift lever is in R position, rear view monitor image is not displayed (Screen is not black).

When shift lever is not in R position, rear view monitor image is displayed.
  1. Neutral start switch
  2. Television camera ECU
Problem with the rear view monitor image (color, disorder of picture).
