Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK BASIC FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the door control transmitter and driver's door lock can control all the doors to lock and unlock normally.

      HINT:

      • If the transmitter does not normally work, go to step A.
      • If the driver's door lock does not normally work, go to step B.
      • If both of them work normally, go to step C.
    1. A: CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See  PRECAUTION  ) 
    2. B: CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See  PRECAUTION  ) 
    3. C: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch and each regulator switch can operate all the power windows.
    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the power windows.
    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
    2. OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU
