Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2 Exhaust Side) 
    1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2 Intake Side) 
    1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

      Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  3. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1 Exhaust Side) 
    1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  4. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1 Intake Side) 
    1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control valve.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
  5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )

  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  11. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  12. CHECK FOR ENGINE OIL LEAKS  (See REPLACEMENT )
  13. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  14. INSTALL COWL TOP OUTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 6 set nuts of the shock absorber.
    2. Install the cowl top panel outer with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    3. Install the shock absorber with the 4 set nuts.

      Torque: 80 N*m (815 kgf*cm, 59 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Install the 2 front shock absorber caps with the 6 nuts, (with Air Suspension)

      Torque: 80 N*m (815 kgf*cm, 59 ft.*lbf) 

    5. Install the grommet.
    6. Install the 2 wire harness clamps.
    7. Connect the rain sensor connector, (with Auto Wiper)
  15. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER LINK ASSEMBLY
