Navigation Ecu: Replacement

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  6. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  7. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSY REAR (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  9. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET FRONT 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 brackets.
  12. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU 
    1. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts.
    2. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the ECU.

  13. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

  14. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET NO.2 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

  15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  16. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (See  INITIALIZATION  ) 
    NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
