Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSY FUNCTION (POWER MIRROR CONTROL FUNCTION) 
    1. Check that the outer rear view mirror LH and RH can be moved using the outer mirror switch.

      OK: Outer rear view mirror LH and RH can be moved using outer mirror switch. 

    1. NG: Go to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK OPERATION OF SHIFT INDICATOR 
    1. Check that the shift indicator of the combination meter operates normally.

      OK: Shift indicator of combination meter operates normally. 

    1. NG: Go to COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH FUNCTION (MIRROR MEMORY FUNCTION) 
    1. Check that the outer rear view mirror LH and RH can be memorized using the seat memory switch.

      Result:

      Outer rear view mirror LH does not operate normally A
      Outer rear view mirror RH does not operate normally A
      Outer rear view mirror LH operates normally B
      Outer rear view mirror RH operates normally C
    1. B: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU) 
    2. C: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU) 
    3. A: Go to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
