Terminals Of Ecu

  1. INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY (DRIVER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the P21 and P22 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY (DRIVER SIDE) (VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE)

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (P21-8) - GND (P22-7) V-W - W-B Ignition switch signal Ignition switch OFF 0 V
      IG (P21-8) - GND (P22-7) V-W - W-B Ignition switch signal Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      +B (P22-8) - GND (P22-7) L-W - W-B Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      SYSB (P21-9) - GND (P22-7) L-O - W-B Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      SGND (P21-13) - GND (P22-7) BR - W-B Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      GND (P22-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P21 and P22 ECU connectors.
    4. Initialize the front power seat (see INITIALIZATION  ).
    5. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY (PASSENGER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the P23 and P24 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY (PASSENGER SIDE) (VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE)

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      +B (P24-8) - GND (P24-7) L-W - W-B Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      SYSB (P23-9) - GND (P24-7) L-O - W-B Battery Always 10 to 14 V
      SGND (P23-13) - GND (P24-7) W-B - W-B Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      GND (P24-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P23 and P24 ECU connectors.
    4. Initialize the front power seat (see INITIALIZATION  ).
    5. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D19 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU) (VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE)

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (D19-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      CPUB (D19-4) - GND (D19-1) L-O - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (D19-5) - GND (D19-1) V-W - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF 0 V
      SIG (D19-5) - GND (D19-1) V-W - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the D19 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard:

  4. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P11 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU) (VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE)

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P11 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
