Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch and regulator switch can operate all the power windows.

      OK: Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally. 

    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  POWER WINDOW DOES NOT OPERATE ON DRIVER SIDE   ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Operate the ignition switch. Check if DTC B2780 is output.

      Result: 

      DTC OUTPUT RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC B2780 is not output A
      DTC B2780 is output B
    1. NG: Go to ENGINE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (See  DTC B2799: ENGINE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM MALFUNCTION  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK OPERATION OF FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Check that the map lamp illuminates when the driver side door is opened.

      OK: Map lamp illuminates normally. 

    1. NG: Go to LIGHTING SYSTEM (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ) 
    2. OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
