System Description

  1. METER GAUGE AND WARNING LAMP/INDICATOR 

    Gauge: 

    METER GAUGE AND WARNING LAMP/INDICATOR

    Item Detail
    Speedometer Calculates vehicle speed based on signal from skid control ECU
    Tachometer Calculates engine speed based on signal from ECM
    Engine Coolant Temperature Receiver Gauge Indicates engine coolant temperature based on signal from ECM
    Fuel Receiver Gauge Indicates remaining amount of fuel based on signal from fuel sender gauge
    ODO/TRIP Meter Calculates mileage or distance since trip button is pressed

    Warning Lamp/Indicator: 

    WARNING LAMP/INDICATOR

    Item Detail
    TURN Blinks when receiving "turn signal or hazard warning switch is on" signal
    HIGH BEAM Illuminates when headlamp dimmer switch is set to hi-beam or FLASH.
    CHARGE Illuminates when receiving malfunction signal from generator
    OIL PRESSURE Illuminates when receiving "engine oil pressure is abnormally low (pressure switch is on)" signal from ECM
    OIL LEVEL Illuminates when receiving "amount of engine oil is not sufficient" signal from ECM
    MIL Illuminates when receiving SFI system malfunction signal from ECM
    OPEN DOOR Illuminates when receiving door courtesy lamp switch signal
    TAIL(1) Illuminates when receiving "taillamp is ON" signal from driver side J/B ECU
    HEAD(2) Illuminates when receiving "headlamp is ON" signal from driver side J/B ECU
    SEAT BELT Blinks when driver side seat belt buckle switch is OFF (unfastened)
    WASHER Illuminates when receiving "window shield washer fluid level is too low" signal from front lamp ECU
    SRS Illuminates when receiving malfunction signal from airbag sensor assy center
    SLIP Blinks when receiving "vehicle stability control system" or "traction control system is properly operating" signal from skid control ECU
    VSC OFF Illuminates when receiving "VSC OFF switch is on" or "traction control system or vehicle stability control system is malfunctioning" signal from skid control ECU
    ABS Illuminates when receiving malfunction signal from skid control ECU
    VSC Illuminates when receiving "traction control system" or "vehicle stability control system is malfunctioning" signal from skid control ECU
    BRAKE Illuminates when receiving "parking brake is applied (switch is ON) or brake fluid level is abnormally low" signal
    FUEL Illuminates when receiving fuel empty signal from fuel sender gauge, or blinks when receiving malfunction signal used for remaining fuel calculation
    TIRE PRESSURE Blinks when receiving "tire pressure is abnormally low" signal from tire pressure monitor receiver
    REAR LIGHTS Illuminates when receiving "taillamp bulb is burn out" signal from luggage room J/B ECU
    CRUISE Illuminates when receiving "cruise control system is operating properly" signal from ECM
    ECT SONW Illuminates when receiving "ECT SNOW switch is on" signal from passenger side J/B ECU
    ECT PWR Illuminates when receiving "ECT PWR switch is on" signal from passenger side J/B ECU
    L Illuminates when receiving L indicator signal from ECM
    2 Illuminates when receiving 2 indicator signal from ECM
    3 Illuminates when receiving 3 indicator signal from ECM
    4 Illuminates when receiving 4 indicator signal from ECM
    D Illuminates when receiving D indicator signal from ECM
    N Illuminates when receiving N indicator signal from ECM
    R Illuminates when receiving R indicator signal from ECM
    P Illuminates when receiving P indicator signal from ECM
