Outer Rear View Mirror Sub-ASSY LH: Replacement

HINT:

In the RH side, work in the same procedure as in the LH side.

1. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSY LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
5. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSY LH (Without Memory) 
   1. Disconnect the wire harness of terminals 4 and 5 from the connector.
      1. Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wire harness terminal.

   2. Tape the outer mirror body with protection tape.
   3. Using a roof moulding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of mirror.
   4. Pull out the outer rear view mirror LH.

6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSY LH (With Memory) 
   1. Disconnect the wire harness of terminals 4 and 12 from the connector.
      1. Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wire harness terminal.
   2. Tape the outer mirror body with protection tape.
   3. Using a roof-moulding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of mirror.
   4. Pull out the outer rear view mirror LH.

7. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSY LH 
   1. Insert the claws placed in the upper part of the backside of the mirror into the actuator hole.
   2. Set the mirror in the actuator.
   3. Insert the lower portion of mirror to engage the 2 clips securely.
   4. Connect the wire harness terminal to the connector.
