Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      b1-2 - b1-3 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
      b1-2 - b1-3 Seat belt is unfastened 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

    2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
      1. Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

        Standard resistance 

        TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        a3-2 - a3-3 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
        a3-2 - a3-3 Seat belt is unfastened 1 MΩ or higher
        A2 - A4 Seat belt is unfastened 1 MΩ or higher
        A2 - A4 Seat belt is fastened (Apply more than 21.5 Nm (219 kgf cm, 15.9 ft. lbf) to occupant detection sensor) Below 1 Ω
        A2 - A4 Seat belt is unfastened (Seat is not occupied) 1 MΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
