Jam Protection Function does not Operate: Description

The jam protection function only operates within a specified range during the AUTO UP operation.

1. POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
   1. Reset the applicable power window regulator motor.
   2. Check that the power window AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.

      OK: AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally. 

   NG : OTHER PROBLEM 

   OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 

2. CHECK JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION OPERATING RANGE 
   1. Check that the jam protection function operates normally for applicable power window.

      HINT:

      The jam protection function does not operate from the fully closed position of the door glass to 4 mm (0.16 in.) below that.

      OK: Jam protection function operates normally. 

   NG : REPLACE SWITCH 

   OK : END
