Center Power Outlet Socket: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  11. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY 
    1. Rotate the socket to disengage the notch.

    2. Pull out the socket halfway and rotate the socket until its protrusion is aligned with the groove of the cover.
    3. Remove the socket from the cover.
