Throttle Body: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT ( ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL ( 2 )
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH ( 3 )
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH ( 4 )
REMOVE V-BANK COVER
1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover.
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET ( 6 )
REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE
1. Disconnect the air hose and No. 1 ventilation hose.
2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the intake air connector.

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY
1. Disconnect the PCV hose.
2. Disconnect the connectors and wire.
3. Disconnect the 2 water bypass hoses.

4. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, throttle body and gasket.
