Inspection Procedure

- CHECK SYSTEM

- Check that the remote control operation of the rear system is not locked by the radio receiver or the radio and navigation assembly.
- Check if "Rear System Locked" appears on the television display.
OK: The message does not appear.
- Check if "Rear System Locked" appears on the television display.
NG: RELEASE LOCK
OK: Go To Next Step
- Check that the remote control operation of the rear system is not locked by the radio receiver or the radio and navigation assembly.
- REPLACE REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK
- Replace the remote controller battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
OK: Same problem does not occur.
OK: END (BATTERY IS DEPLETED)
NG: Go to Next step
- Replace the remote controller battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
- CLEAN INFRARED RAY EMITTING PORTION
- Clean the infrared ray emitting portion.
- Clean the infrared ray emitting portion on the rear display.
- Check whether the same malfunction occurs.
OK: The function returns to normal.
OK: END
NG: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Clean the infrared ray emitting portion.
