Power Window Regulator Motor: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
    NOTE: The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the power window regulator motor.
    1. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T25), install the front power window regulator motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      The new front window regulator adopts a self-tapping method. The installation position of regulator will be threaded when the self-tapping screw is inserted.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 24 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 25 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (See step 26 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (See step 32 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 36 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  7. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See step 37 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  8. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See step 38 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (See step 39 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  10. INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
    NOTE: The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the power window regulator motor.
    1. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T25), install the rear power window regulator motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      The new rear window regulator adopts a self-tapping method. The installation position of regulator will be threaded when the self-tapping screw is inserted.

  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 13 in  REASSEMBLY  )

  12. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 14 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS (See step 15 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 16 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN (See step 17 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  16. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (See step 21 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  17. INSTALL REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (See step 26 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  18. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 29 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  19. INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See step 30 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  20. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (See step 31 in  REASSEMBLY  ) 
  21. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  22. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    NOTE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal (See INITIALIZATION ).
