Outer Mirror Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. Inspect the outer mirror switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TESTER CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE  when the switch is operated.

        Resistance: 

        Select "L" on the left/right adjustment switch 

      TESTER CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

      Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
      4 - 8 UP Below 1 ohms
      6 - 7
      4 - 7 DOWN
      6 - 8
      5 - 8 LEFT
      6 - 7
      5 - 7 RIGHT
      6 - 8

    Select "R" on the left/right adjustment switch 

    TESTER CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

    Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
    3 - 8 UP Below 1 ohms
    6 - 7
    3 - 7 DOWN
    6 - 8
    2 - 8 LEFT
    6 - 7
    2 - 7 RIGHT
    6 - 8
  2. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH (w/Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. Inspect the outer mirror switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TESTER CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE  when the switch is operated.

        Resistance 

      TESTER CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

      Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
      2 - 3 OFF 10 k ohms or higher
      UP 225 to 275 ohms
      DOWN 437 to 503 ohms
      LEFT 744 to 856 ohms
      RIGHT 437 to 503 ohms
      1 - 2 L 90 to 110 ohms
      R 10 ohms or less
      4 - 7
      6 - 8
      Retracts Below 1 ohms
      4 - 8
      6 - 7
      Returns (Driving position) Below 1 ohms
