Steering Pad Switch: Inspection

INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH

Remove the steering pad switch connector with the steering pad switch and spiral cable still connected.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
DISP - EAU	DISP switch is not pushed in.	10 kΩ or higher
DISP - EAU	DISP switch is pushed in.	Below 1Ω

HINT:

If the value is not as specified, replace the steering pad switch.
