Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK DRIVER DOOR ECU

    1. Disconnect the D25 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard 

      D25 ECU CONNECTOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (D25-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      CPUB (D25-4) - GND (D25-1) V-Y - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (D25-5) - GND (D25-1) R-L - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON O V --> 10 to 14 V
      BDR (D25-6) - GND (D25-1) R - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the D25 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

    Standard

    #MHR (R39-9) - GND (D25-1) R - W-B Mirror control switch signal (Left or Down) Driver remote control mirror is not operating. Driver remote control mirror is operating to UP or RIGHT. Driver remote control mirror is operating to LEFT or DOWN. Below 1 V Below 1 V 10 to 14 V
    D25 ECU CONNECTOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

    #MVR (R39-1) - GND (D25-1) W - W-B Mirror control switch signal (Up or Right) Driver remote control mirror is not operating. Driver remote control mirror is operating to DOWN or LEFT. Driver remote control mirror is operating to UP or RIGHT. Below 1 V Below 1 V 10 to 14 V
    VSSR (R39-6) - #E2 (R39-14) V - GR Vertical direction position signal Vertical direction of mirror position sensor circuit. -
    HSSR (R39-13) - #E2 (R39-14) LG - GR Horizontal direction position signal Horizontal direction of mirror position sensor circuit. -
    #VC (R39-5) - #E2 (R39-14) SB - GR Power source for mirror position sensor Ignition switch ACC or OFF during sleep mode. Ignition switch ON. Below 1 V 4.8 to 5.2 V
    MR+ (R39-3) - MR- (R39-11) G - L Mirror retract switch signal Driver remote control mirror retract system is not operating. Driver remote control mirror retract system is RETRACT operating. Below 1 V 10 to 14 V
    EC+ (R39-7) - EC- (R39-15) BR - B-L Mirror EC signal Electrochromatic mirror system is operating. Electrochromatic mirror system is not operating. 10 to 14 V Below 1 V
    HTR+ (R39-4) - HTR- (R39-12) BR-W - B-R Mirror defogger signal Mirror defogger switch ON. Mirror defogger switch OFF. 10 to 14 V Below 1 V
    ECI+ (D25-7) - ECI- (D25-18) G-R - BR-B Mirror EC signal Electrochromatic mirror system is operating. Electrochromatic mirror system is not operating. 10 to 14 V Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, replace the remote control mirror or the driver door ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK FRONT PASSENGER DOOR ECU

    1. Disconnect the F17 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard 

      F17 ECU CONNECTOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (F17-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      CPUB (F17-4) - GND (F17-1) V-Y - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (F17-5) - GND (F17-1) R-L - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 to 14 V
      BDR (F17-6) - GND (F17-1) R - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the F17 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

    Standard

    F17 ECU CONNECTOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

    HTR+ (R40-4) - HTR- (R40-12) BR-W - B-R Mirror defogger signal Mirror defogger switch ON. Mirror defogger switch OFF. 10 to 14 V Below 1 V
    ECI+ (F17-7) - ECI- (F17-18) G-R - BR-B Mirror EC signal Electrochromatic mirror system is operating. Electrochromatic mirror system is not operating. 10 to 14 V Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, replace the remote control mirror or the passenger door ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK DRIVER SIDE J/B (DRIVER SIDE J/B ECU)

    1. Disconnect DA and DG JB connectors.
    2. Disconnect the D5 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard 

      DA AND DG JB CONNECTORS VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (DG-8) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      MPX-IG (DA-1) - GND (DG-8) B-W - W-B Power Supply Always 10 to 14 V

      GND2 (D5-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      MPX-B (D5-5) - GND (DG-8) R-B - W-B Power Supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the DA and DG JB connectors.
    5. Reconnect the D5 ECU connector.
    6. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

    Standard

    If the result is not as specified, replace the outer mirror switch or the ECU may have a malfunction.
