Inner Rear View Mirror ASSY: Replacement

HINT:

• The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order.
• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
• A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see WINDSHIELD/WINDOWGLASS/MIRROR - SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS ).

1. REMOVE MAP LAMP ASSY 
   1. w/o LEXUS link system:

      Open the upper console.

   2. Using a screwdriver, pry out the lens cover.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   3. Using a screwdriver, pry out the 2 caps.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   4. Remove the 4 screws.
   5. Remove the map lamp and disconnect the connector.

2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY 
   1. Remove the 2 screws and mirror.
   2. Disconnect the connector.
