IAC functional check:
TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS TABLE - IAC FUNCTIONAL CHECK
| 1. Frequency that both of following conditions (a) and (b) are set: | 5 time or more* |
| (a) Engine RPM - Target engine RPM | Less than -1,000 RPM, or more than 150 RPM |
| (b) Vehicle condition | Stop after vehicle was driven by 10 km/h (6mph) or more |
| 2. Frequency that both of following conditions (a) and (b) are set: | Once |
| (a) Engine RPM - Target engine RPM | Below -100 RPM, or 150 RPM or more |
| (b) IAC flow rate learning value | 1.67 L/sec or less, or 9.57 L/sec |
HINT:
*: If 2(a) and 2(b) are met while the engine is idling, 1 count occurs. Then, drive the vehicle at least 10 km/h (6 mph) and return the engine to idle. If 2(a) and 2(b) are met, another count occurs.
