Seat Belt Control Ecu: Replacement

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (See step 18 on  OVERHAUL  ) 
  3. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See step 20 on  OVERHAUL  ) 
  7. REMOVE SIDE TRIM TOOL BAG COVER (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  8. REMOVE TOOL CASE (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSY LH (See step 21 on  OVERHAUL  ) 
  10. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts and ECU.

  11. INSTALL SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 
    1. Install the ECU with the 3 nuts.
      1. Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf) 
    2. Connect the connector.

  12. CONNECT BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.
