NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH CIRCUIT
OK : Go To Next Step
- Check the parking brake switch circuit (INSPECTION
).
- CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Check the brake fluid level warning switch circuit (DISASSEMBLY
).
NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH CIRCUIT
OK : Go To Next Step
- Check the brake fluid level warning switch circuit (DISASSEMBLY
).
- CHECK DTC FOR ABS
OK : REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE
NG : Go To Next Step
- CHECK BRAKE WARNING LIGHT
- Check the warning light other than the BRAKE warning light.
OK : Go to step 6
NG : Go To Next Step
- INSPECT RELAY (Marking: IG1 NO.2)
- Remove the IG1 NO. 2 relay from the cowl side junction block LH.
- Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition 1 - 2 10 kΩ or higher 1 - 2 Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage is applied to terminal 3 and 4) NG : REPLACE RELAY
OK : CHECK COMBINATION METER (COMBINATION METER CIRCUIT)
- INSPECT ECU CONNECTORS
- Check that each ECU connector is properly installed.
OK : Each ECU connector is properly installed.
NG : CONNECT CONNECTOR TO ECU CORRECTLY
OK : Go To Next Step
- CHECK WARNING LIGHT
- Check for open circuit in the combination meter circuit.
NG : REPLACE COMBINATION METER
OK : Go To Next Step
- Check for open circuit in the combination meter circuit.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER)
NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK : REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
