Speed Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT) 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector from the transmission.
    2. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

    Standard resistance 

    OSCILLOSCOPE REFERENCE CHART

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 560 to 680 Ω
  2. INSPECT TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (SP2) 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector from the transmission.
    2. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

    Standard resistance 

    MONITOR STRATEGY CHART

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 560 to 680 Ω
