Throttle Body: Inspection

  1. INSPECT THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Resistance 

      SYMBOLS (TERMINAL NO.) AND RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Symbols (terminal No.) Resistance Temperature
      M+ (2) - M- (1) 0.3 to 100 Ω 20°C (68°F)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the throttle body assembly.
