Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST (MIRROR RETRACT FUNCTION)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the hand-held tester to generate a control command, and then check that the mirror retract function.

- A: Go to next step.
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the hand-held tester to generate a control command, and then check that the mirror retract function.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH OR RH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the D19 or P11 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard:

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH OR RH (RETRACTABLE MIRROR MOTOR)
- Disconnect the R14 or R15 mirror connector.
- Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the retractable mirror.NOTE:
- Disconnect and reconnect the battery once between each mirror position check.
- The mirror position cannot be changed manually when the battery is connected. To change the mirror position manually, the battery must be disconnected first.
