Manual Close Operation

HINT:

• The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedure listed below are for the RH side.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
3. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
8. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
9. MANUALLY CLOSE QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH 
   1. Disconnect the power window regulator motor connector.
   2. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 of the connector, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Then close the quarter window.

      HINT:

      On the LH side, connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

10. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
11. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSY (See  OVERHAUL  ) 

    Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY 

    Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf) 

14. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSY 

    Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
