Data List / Active Test

  1. READ DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    Using Techstream Data List allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the Data List relay in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access or Main Body / Data List.
    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the tester.

      D Touch Sensor Driver side door touch sensor / ON or OFF ON: Sensor is touched
      OFF: Sensor is not touched
      P Touch Sensor Front passenger side door touch sensor/ON or OFF ON: Sensor is touched
      OFF: Sensor is not touched
      DR Touch Sensor Rear door touch sensor LH / ON or OFF ON: Sensor is touched
      OFF: Sensor is not touched
      PR Touch Sensor Rear door touch sensor RH / ON or OFF ON: Sensor is touched
      OFF: Sensor is not touched
      D Trigger SW Driver side door lock switch / ON or OFF ON: Switch is touched
      OFF: Switch is not touched

      DR Trigger SW Rear door lock switch LH / ON or OFF ON: Switch is touched
      OFF: Switch is not touched

      NO: Key battery voltage is normal
      Wrong Code ID code difference / YES or NO YES: Key ID code matches

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT:

    Performing Techstream Active Test allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The Data List can be displayed during the Active Test.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access or Main Body / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the tester.
