Rear Power Window Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Rear RH) 
    1. Remove the power window switch
    2. Measure the resistance when the switch is operated according to the value(s) in the table below

      Standard resistance

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (U) - 4 (A) - 5 (E) Auto UP Below 1 Ω
      2 (U) - 5 (E) Manual UP Below 1 Ω
      5 (E) - 10 (D) Manual DOWN Below 1 Ω
      4 (A) - 10 (D) - 5 (E) Auto DOWN Below 1 Ω
  2. REMOVE POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Rear LH) 
    1. Remove the power window switch
    2. Measure the resistance when the switch is operated according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (U) - 4 (A) - 5 (E) Auto UP Below 1 Ω
      2 (U) - 5 (E) Manual UP Below 1 Ω
      5 (E) - 10 (D) Manual DOWN Below 1 Ω
      4 (A) - 10 (D) - 5 (E) Auto DOWN Below 1 Ω
