Combination Meter: Installation

  1. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the 2 connectors as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the combination meter assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the guide and 4 claws.
    2. Engage the 2 clips
    3. Install the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly with the screw.

  3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER 
    1. Engage the claw and install the upper steering column cover

    2. Engage the 2 claws
    3. Install the lower steering column cover with the 2 screws.

      Torque: 2.0 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  (See INSTALLATION )

  6. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    NOTE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal (See INITIALIZATION ).
