Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See Drain or Add coolant under ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  10. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See REMOVAL )
  11. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
    2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
