Inspection Procedure

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)

Disconnect the E63 connector from the multi-display.
Disconnect the R15 connector from the television camera assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

CGND (R15-3) - CGND (E63-14)	Always	Below 1 Ω

CV- (R15-1) - V- (E63-28)	Always	Below 1 Ω
CB+ (R15-4) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
CGND (R15-3) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
CV+ (R15-2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
CV- (R15-1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to Next Step

INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY

Reconnect the multi-display E63 connector.

Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY

OK: REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
