Front Active Stabilizer Control Ecu: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU 
    1. Install the ECU with the bolt and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) for nut 

      9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf) for bolt

    2. Using the procedures below, connect the ECU connectors.
      1. Connect the ECU connector. (*1)
      2. Rotate the lever in the direction of the arrow until a "click" sound is heard. (*2)
      3. Lock the lever's lock. (*3)
    3. Install the ground wire to the ECU with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the wire harness clamp to the bracket.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT 
    1. Install the intake duct with the 2 bolts.
  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH 
  4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH 
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
