- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Check for DTCs.

A: Go to next step
- Check for DTCs.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream ON.
- Select the following menu items: Body / RL-Door Motor / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
RL-Door Motor
DATA LISTTester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note RL Door P/W Auto SW Rear LH power window auto switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Rear LH power window auto switch is operated
OFF: Rear LH power window auto up / down switch is not operated- OK:
ON (switch operates) appears on screen.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW SWITCH (REAR LH SIDE) - MOTOR (REAR LH SIDE))
- Disconnect the S5 power window switch connector.
- Disconnect the O12 motor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition S5-4 (A) - O12-4 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω SS-4 (A) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Rear LH Side)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (A) - 5 (E) AUTO UP / DOWN operation Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Rear LH Side) (See REMOVAL )
OK: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
