Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disconnect the M14 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M14-1 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M14-2 (B) - M14-1 (E) GR-BR Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M14 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      M14-10 (UP1) - M14-1 (E) R-BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), master switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      M14-10 (UP1) - M14-1 (E) R-BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1V → 11 to 14 V
      M14-7 (DWN1) - M14-1 (E) G-BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), master switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      M14-7 (DWN1) - M14-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the M13 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Taster Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M13-1 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M13-2 (B) - M13-1 (E) O - BR Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M5 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      M13-10 (UP1) - M13-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      M13-10 (UP1) - M13-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      M13-7 (DWN1) - M13-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      M13-7 (DWN1) - M13-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O12 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O12-1 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O12-2 (B) - O12-1 (E) GR - BR Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O12 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      O12-10 (UP1) - O12-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      O12-10 (UP1) - O12-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      O12-7 (DWN1) - O12-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      O12-7 (DWN1) - O12-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW ECU (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O11 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O11-1 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O11-2 (B) - O11-1 (E) L - BR Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O11 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      O11-10 (UP1) - O11-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      O11-10 (UP1) - O11-1 (E) R - BR Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      O11-7 (DWN1) - O11-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      O11-7 (DWN1) - O11-1 (E) G - BR Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the Q13 master switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      Q13-12 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Q13-15 (CPUB) - Q13-12 (E) P - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      Q13-18 (SIG) - Q13-12 (E) V - W-B Power supply Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the Q13 master switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Q13-20 (U) - Q13-12 (E) R - W-B Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V

      Q13-16 (D) - Q13-12 (E) G - W-B Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Q13-16 (D) - Q13-12 (E) G - W-B Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      Q13-11 (LED) - Q13-12 (E) SB - W-B Indicator light operation 45 seconds after the power switch off Below 1 V
      Q13-11 (LED) - Q13-12 (E) SB - W-B Indicator light operation Power switch on (IG), window lock switch is unlocked 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the master switch may be malfunctioning.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the Q6 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      Q6-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the Q6 switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Q6-2 (U) - Q6-5 (E) R - W-B Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V

      Q6-4 (A) - Q6-5 (E) B - W-B Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      Q6-4 (A) - Q6-5 (E) B - W-B Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      Q6-8 (LED) - Q6-5 (E) BR - W-B Indicator light operation 45 seconds after the power switch off Below 1 V
      Q6-8 (LED) - Q6-5 (E) BR - W-B Indicator light operation Power switch on (IG), window lock switch is unlocked 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the switch may be malfunctioning.

  7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the S5 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S5-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the S5 switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      If the result is not as specified, the switch may be malfunctioning.

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the S1 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S1-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the S1 switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the switch may be malfunctioning.

  9. CHECK FRONT DOOR ECU (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disconnect the M9 and M10 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      M9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M9-3 (SIG) - M9-1 (GND) Y - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      M9-4 (CPUB) - M9-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M9-6 (BDR) - M9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M9 and M10 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      M9-2 (PWE) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      M9-5 (BDRJ) - M9-1 (GND) GR - W-B +B power output Always 11 to 14 V
      M9-10 (SIGJ) - M9-1 (GND) V - W-B Ignition power supply output Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  10. CHECK FRONT DOOR ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the M4 and M3 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      M4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M4-3 (SIG) - M4-1 (GND) L - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      M4-4 (CPUB) - M4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M4-6 (BDR) - M4-1 (GND) L - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M4 and M3 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M4-2 (PWE) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      M4-5 (BDRJ) - M4-1 (GND) O - W-B +B power output Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  11. CHECK FRONT DOOR ECU (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O7 and O8 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      O7-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O7-3 (SIG) - O7-1 (GND) G - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      O7-4 (CPUB) - O7-1 (GND) BR - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      O7-6 (BDR) - O7-1 (GND) L - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the O7 and O8 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O7-2 (PWE) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      O7-5 (BDRJ) - O7-1 (GND) GR - W-B +B power output Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  12. CHECK FRONT DOOR ECU (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      O3-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O3-3 (SIG) - O3-1 (GND) L - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch off → on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      O3-4 (CPUB) - O3-1 (GND) G - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      O3-6 (BDR) - O3-1 (GND) L - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O3-2 (PWE) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      O3-5 (BDRJ) - O3-1 (GND) L - W-B +B power output Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  13. CHECK BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the DK and DA junction block connectors.
    2. Disconnect the U1, K68 and K67 ECU connectors.

    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to value(s) in the table below.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE

      DK-5 (BECU) - Body ground G-R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      U1-14 (DCTY) - Body ground R - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch input Driver side door is open → close Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
      K68-23 (PCTY) - Body ground R - Body ground Front passenger side door courtesy light switch input Front passenger side door is open → close Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
      U1-16 (RCTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Rear RH side door courtesy light switch input Rear RH side door is open → close Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
      DA-11 (LCTY) - Body ground G - Body ground Rear LH side door courtesy light switch input Rear LH side door is open → close Below 1 Ω → 10kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.
