Slip Indicator Light Remains ON: Description

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN and multiplex communications. The slip indicator light blinks during VSC and/or TR(A)C operation.

When the system fails, the slip indicator light comes on to warn the driver (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  ). Pressing the VSC OFF switch turns off traction control and pressing and holding this switch turns off traction and VSC controls. If traction control turns off, the slip indicator light will come on.
