Inspection Procedure
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU RH - POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the DA and DD ECU connectors.
- Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition DD-6 - K73-34(IG1D) Below 1 Ω DA-5 - Body ground Below 1 Ω DD-7 - Body ground Below 1 Ω DD-6 or K73-34 (IG1D) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (RH-IG RELAY 1)
- Disconnect the DD and DM ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the ECU connectors.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition DM-1 - DD-14 When battery voltage is not applied to terminals DD-6 and DA-5 or DD-7 10 kΩ or higher DM-1 - DD-14 When battery voltage Is applied to terminals DD-6 and DA-5 or DD-7 Below 1 Ω DD-6 - DD-7 20°C (68°F) Approx. 88.2 Ω
NG: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU (IG1D VOLTAGE)
- Measure the output voltage of the power source control ECU.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 34 (IG1D) - Body ground Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
NG: REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU
OK: END
- Measure the output voltage of the power source control ECU.
