HINT:
Using Techstream's DATA LIST allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST relay in troubleshooting is one way to save time.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Read the DATA LIST.

OFF: Brake pedal released- Stop Light Switch 2 Stop light switch 2/ON or OFF ON: Brake pedal depressed

OFF: Engine switch off- Steering Unlock Switch Steering lock condition/ON or OFF ON: Steering is unlocked
OFF: Steering is locked- Neutral SW / Clutch SW Neutral start switch/ON or OFF ON: Shift position is N
OFF: Shift position is not N- Latch Circuit Latch circuit/ON or OFF ON: Engine switch on (IG)
OFF: Engine switch off, on (ACC) or engine running- Starter Request Signal Starter request signal/ON or OFF ON: ST relay is ON
OFF: ST relay is OFF- ACC Relay Cut Signal ACC relay cut signal/ON or OFF ON: Engine switch off
OFF: Engine switch on (IG)- Vehicle Speed Signal Vehicle speed signal/STOP or RUN STOP: Vehicle is stopped
RUN: Vehicle is running- Engine condition Engine condition/STOP or RUN STOP: Vehicle is stopped
RUN: Vehicle is running- Power Supply Condition Power supply condition/ALL, ACC ON, IG1 IG2, ST ON ALL: All relays are ON
ACC ON: ACC relay is ON

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST
HINT:
Performing Techstream's ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The DATA LIST can be displayed during the ACTIVE TEST.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the tester.
