Inspection Mode Procedure

HINT:

Before reading the Data List or performing the Active Test using the Techstream, be sure to put the system into the inspection mode using the following procedure.

1. ACTIVATING INSPECTION MODE 
   1. Not using the Techstream
      1. Perform the following steps in 60 seconds.
         1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
         2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal twice with the transmission in the P position.
         3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal twice with the transmission in the N position.
         4. Fully depress the accelerator pedal twice with the transmission in the P position.
         5. Check that the "MAINTENANCE MODE" on the multi-information display is illuminated in the combination meter.
         6. Turn the power switch on (READY).
      2. To end inspection mode, turn the power switch off.
