  2. CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT OF COMPONENT SHOWN BY SUB-CODE
    1. Inspect the power source circuit of the component shown by the sub-code.

If the power source circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step.

      Component table:

      COMPONENT CHART

      Component Proceed to
Radio receiver (190) Radio receiver power source circuit (see RADIO RECEIVER POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT  )
Stereo component amplifier (440) Stereo component amplifier power source circuit (see STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT  )
Gateway ECU (1C6) Gateway ECU power source circuit (see GATEWAY ECU POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT  )
  3. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the K53, K54 and K56 receiver connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance of the receiver.

      Standard resistance

      RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      K53-9 (TXM+) - K53-10 (TXM-) 60 to 80 Ω
      K54-5 (ATX+) - K54-15 (ATX-) 60 to 80 Ω
      K56-9 (TX+) - K56-10 (TX-) 60 to 80 Ω

    NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    OK: Go to next step

  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - COMPONENT SHOWN BY SUB-CODE)

    HINT:

    • Start the check from the circuit that is near the component shown by the sub-code first.
    • For details of the connectors, refer to "TERMINALS OF ECU " .
    1. Referring to the AVC-LAN wiring diagram below, check the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component shown by the sub-code.
      1. Disconnect all connectors between the multi-display and the component shown by sub-code.
      2. Check for an open or short in the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component shown by the sub-code.

OK: There is no open or short circuit.
