Slip Indicator Light Remains ON: Description

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via the CAN and multiplex communication systems.

The slip indicator light blinks during VSC and/or TR(A)C operation.

When the system malfunctions, the slip indicator light comes on to warn the driver (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  ). Pressing the VSC OFF switch turns off traction control and pressing and holding this switch turns off traction and VSC controls. If traction control is turned off, the slip indicator light will come on.
