On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream main switch on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Data List/Accelerator Position No. 1, Accelerator Position No. 2.
    5. Read the value displayed on the tester.

      Accelerator Position No. 1 standard voltage 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Condition Specified Condition
      Accelerator pedal is released 0.5 to 1.1V
      Accelerator pedal is depressed 2.6 to 4.5 V

      Accelerator Position No. 2 standard voltage 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Condition Specified Condition
      Accelerator pedal Is released 1.2 to 2.0 V
      Accelerator pedal is depressed 3.4 to 5.0 V

      If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness or ECM.
