System Outline
When the ignition SW is turned on, the outer mirrors can be operated. When the remote control mirror SW is operated, a signal is input to the remote control mirror ECU, and the outer mirror will be adjusted to the desired position.
In this system, the position sensor detects the number of rotations of each motor (Movement amount of each mirror) and inputs it to the remote control mirror ECU. This makes it possible to store and recall the outer mirror position using the driving position memory SW. The outer mirror position is stored and can be recalled through communication control via the body ECU.
If the remote control mirror SW (Select SW) is moved to the left side of the neutral position, the ignition SW is on and the shift lever is in the R position, then the LH and RH outer mirrors will move downward slightly. In this case, it is not necessary to operate the remote control mirror SW for approx. 120 seconds.
