Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch
    2. Select "Volume"

    3. Check that "OFF" is not selected

      OK: "OFF" is not selected.

    NG: TURN VOICE GUIDANCE VOLUME UP TO 4 USING VOICE ADJUSTMENT SWITCHES 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch
    2. Select "Set up"

    3. Check that "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not OFF.

      OK: Voice guidance in all modes is not OFF.

    NG: TURN VOICE GUIDANCE IN ALL MODES "ON" 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  3. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
    2. Select "Set up"

    3. Check that "Auto Voice Guidance" is not OFF

      OK: Auto voice guidance is not OFF.

    NG: TURN AUTO VOICE GUIDANCE "ON" 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  4. CHECK MAP DISC 
    1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

      OK: No deformations or cracks on the map disc.

    NG: REPLACE MAP DISC 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  5. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER 
    1. Check that audio sound can be heard from the driver side speaker.

      OK: Audio sound can be heard. 

    NG: GO TO AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
