Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) 
    1. w/ Occupant Classification System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        T3-2 - T3-3 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
        T3-2 - T3-3 Seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher

    2. w/o Occupant Classification System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        T3-4 - T3-5 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
        T3-J - T3-5 Seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat) 
    1. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        Pu1-4-Pu1-12 Seat belt Is fastened Below 1 Ω
        Pu1-4-Pu1-12 Seat belt Is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the front seat inner belt assembly.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        T17-1 - T16-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        T17-2 - T16-4 Always Below 1 Ω
        T17-3 - T16-13 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-1 - T16-5 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-2 - T16-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-3 - T16-17 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-4 - T16-18 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-5 - T16-12 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-6 - T16-11 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-7 - T16-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-8 - T16-16 Always Below 1 Ω
        U1-2 - PU1-16 Always Below 1 Ω
        u1-3 - Pu1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        u1-4 - Pu1-17 Always Below 1 Ω
        u1-5 - Pu1-9 Always Below 1 Ω
    2. w/o Seat Heater System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        PT1-4 - PT1-12 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
        PT1-4 - PT1-12 Seat belt Is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the front seat inner belt assembly.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        T17-1 - T16-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        T17-2 - T16-4 Always Below 1 Ω
        T17-3 - T16-13 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-1 - T16-5 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-2 - T16-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-3 - T16-17 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-4 - T16-18 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-5 - T16-12 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-6 - T16-11 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-7 - T16-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        A1-8-T16-16 Always Below 1 Ω
  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat) 
    1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U4-4 - U4-5 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
      U4-4 - U4-5 Seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
    2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the front seat inner belt assembly.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - Q6-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 - Q6-4 Always Below 1 Ω
  4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Seat) 
    1. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        U1-4 - U1-12 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω
        U1-4 - U1-12 Seat belt is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the front seat inner belt assembly.

        Standard resistance 

        RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION CHART

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-1 - Q6-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        A-2 - Q6-4 Always Below 1 Ω
        U1-1 - v1-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        U1-9 - v1-5 Always Below 1 Ω
        U1-16 - v1-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        U1-17 - v1-4 Always Below 1 Ω
    2. w/o Seat Heater System:
      1. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

        Standard resistance

        U1-4 - U1-12 Seat belt Is unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the front seat inner belt assembly.

        Standard resistance

        A-1-Q6-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        A-2-Q6-4 Always Below 1 Ω
