Steering Pad Switch: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See PRECAUTION ).

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEERING PAD (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the cruise switch connector
2. Disengage the connector clamp
3. Disconnect the pad switch connector.

4. Remove the screw.
5. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch.

6. Remove the screw
7. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch
