Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the P33 ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P33-1 (+B1) - P33-17 (E) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      P33-17(E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

    3. Reconnect the P33 ECU connector
    4. Measure the voltage and pulse according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P33-18(IG) - P33-17(E) B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      P33-18(IG) - P33-17(E) B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      P33-10(LIN) - P33-17(E) V - W-B LIN Communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning

  2. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the J55 ECU connector

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J55-6 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J55-12(AM2) - Body ground O - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      J55-33(AM1) - Body ground O - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

    3. Reconnect the J55 ECU connector
    4. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below
      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J55-30 (LIN1) - J55-6 (GND2) V - W-B LIN Communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  3. CHECK ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the J69 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J69-1 (+B) - J69-8 (GND) G - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      J69-8 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

    3. Reconnect the J69 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below
      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J69-3 (LIN1) - J69-8 (GND) V - W-B LIN Communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the J29 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J29-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J29-6 (IG2) - J29-1 (GND) LG - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      J29-6 (IG2) - J29-1 (GND) LG - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      J29-7 (B) - J29-1 (GND) O - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

    3. Reconnect the J29 ECU connector
    4. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below
      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J29-5 (LIN) - J29-1 (GND) V - W-B LIN Communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning
