Shift Paddle Switch: Removal

ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment (See PRECAUTION ).

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEERING PAD (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH
1. Disconnect the clamp from the steering wheel assembly.
2. Disconnect the switch wire connector from the steering wheel assembly.

3. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the 2 shift paddle switches, and remove the switch wire.

4. Remove the 4 screws, 2 brackets and 2 shift paddle switches.
