Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK GATEWAY ECU 
    1. Disconnect the gateway ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      J76-1 (IG) - Body ground B - Body ground Power source (IG) Engine switch off Below 1 V

      J76-4 (MPI1) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J76-10 (BATT) - Body ground LG - Body ground Power source (+B) Always 11 to 14 V
      J76-12 (MPD2) - Body ground GR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J76-13 (MPI2) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J76-24 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground for main power supply Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU LH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH) 
    1. Disconnect the main body ECU LH (cowl side junction block LH) connectors

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      A30-17 (MPX2) - Body ground GR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  4. CHECK MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU 
    1. Disconnect the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      J28-2 (+B) - Body ground SB - Body ground Power source (+B) Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  5. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the multiplex network master switch connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  6. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the multiplex network switch connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      L13-2 (MPX1) - Body ground GR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L13-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L13-12 (BDR) - L13-7 (GND) L - W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  7. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH) 
    1. Disconnect the multiplex network switch connector

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O1-2 (MPX1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O1-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1
      O1-12 (BDR) - O1-7 (GND) O-W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  8. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR RH) 
    1. Disconnect the multiplex network switch connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      N1-2 - Body ground GR - body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N1-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  9. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU LH 
    1. Disconnect the outer mirror control ECU LH connectors

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  10. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (POSITION CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch RH (position control ECU) connectors

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

  11. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  12. CHECK FRONT CONTROLLER (ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK NO. 2) 
    1. Disconnect the front controller (engine room relay block No. 2) connectors

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  13. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU RH 
    1. Disconnect the outer mirror control ECU RH connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  14. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (POSITION CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch LH (position control ECU) connectors

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  15. CHECK SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the sliding roof control ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  16. CHECK RAIN SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the rain sensor connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

  17. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the power source control ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  18. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the windshield wiper switch assembly connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  19. CHECK COMBINATION METER ECU 
    1. Disconnect the combination meter ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  20. CHECK CLEARANCE WARNING ECU 
    1. Disconnect the clearance warning ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  21. CHECK AFS ECU 
    1. Disconnect the AFS ECU connector

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

  22. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING ECU 
    1. Disconnect the air conditioning ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      J58-1 (B) - Body ground Y - Body ground Power source (+B) Always 11 to 14 V
      J58-20 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground for main power supply Always Below 1 Ω
      J58-21 (IG+) - Body ground B - Body ground Power source (IG) Engine switch off Below 1 V
      J58-21 (IG+) - Body ground B - Body ground Power source (IG) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      J58-30 (MPX+) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J58-31 (MPX-) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  23. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER 
    1. Disconnect the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      IG (J49-1) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power source Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      MPX2 (J49-2) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Engine switch on (IG) 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX1 (J49-3) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Engine switch on (IG) 10 kΩ or higher
      GND (J49-6) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Tire pressure warning ECU and receiver ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side

  24. CHECK OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK 
    1. Disconnect the overhead junction block connector

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      R5-39 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side
