Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Clear DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Check for DTCs B2271, B2272 and B2274.

B: GO TO SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
A: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU LH - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the front power seat switch LH (position control ECU) connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard Voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGETester Connection Condition Specified Condition U6-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V U7-4 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V U7-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU LH - GROUND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard Resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition U6-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
